Dak Prescott has the added incentive of being a close second to Matthew Stafford in the race for most passing yards and will have been glad to see George Pickens back on song in a 34-17 loss to the Chargers , with the wide receiver posting seven catches for 130 yards and a touchdown.
Washington have suffered nine defeats in their last 10 games after going down 29-18 at home to Philadelphia , with the Commanders forced to send on third-string quarterback Josh Johnson following an injury to backup Marcus Mariota .

The Lions saw their play-off hopes all but ended in unfortunate circumstances as a Jared Goff touchdown on the final play was chalked off due to pass interference in a 29-24 home loss to Pittsburgh .
Detroit haven’t played badly during a frustrating run of results and are always a threat going forward, but defensively they do look in disarray after conceding an average of 31.6 points per match over the past five weeks.
Minnesota have shown plenty of spirit to rebound from a run of six defeats in seven outings with a hat-trick of victories and will be determined to maintain that momentum on home turf, having already won 27-24 in Detroit this term.
The Vikings will hopefully get drawn into a high-scoring shootout here and this bet would have paid off in seven of their last eight meetings with the Lions .
Chiefs vs Broncos Under 37.5 Points
Kansas City vs Denver Under 37.5 Points
The Broncos saw their 11 -match winning streak ended by Jacksonville in a 34-20 defeat which saw Trevor Lawrence inspire the Jaguars and Bo Nix struggle for Denver .
Nix has been excellent since selected 12th overall in the 2024 draft but fluffed his lines at key moments against the Jaguars and head coach Sean Payton may just look to dial it down a bit and adopt more of a safety-first approach here.
Kansas City failed to score a touchdown at Tennessee in their first fixture since Patrick Mahomes suffered a torn ACL and the season can’t end soon enough for them, so watch for the Chiefs to wind down the clock with running plays or short passes from the outset.
