Our guide to the next Tottenham manager odds examines the leading candidates to replace Thomas Frank and the latest prices in the betting market.
Tottenham are on the hunt for another head coach after Thomas Frank was dismissed after only 38 matches.
Spurs made the contentious decision to sack Europa League-winning boss Ange Postecoglou in June and turned to Frank in an attempt to compete across multiple competitions after a 17th-placed finish in the Premier League during an injury-hit 2024/25 campaign.
Who Should Be The Next Tottenham Manager After Thomas Frank?
However, Frank has left Tottenham with the club out of both domestic cups and perilously close to the relegation zone after a run of two wins in 17 league fixtures. Frank’s departure follows Tuesday night’s 2-1 defeat to Newcastle, a result that stretched Spurs’ winless streak in the Premier League to eight matches and leaves the club sitting just two places above the relegation zone.
Here, BOYLE Sports looks at the top candidates to become the next permanent Tottenham manager.

Lawrence Lyons, spokesperson for BOYLE Sports, said:
“The writing was on the wall for Thomas Frank at Tottenham, but their next move is not as clear cut. Johhny Heitinga is holding the early edge given he’s already in the building, but there’s strong interest in Roberto De Zerbi with many punters confident his departure from Marseille could prove perfect timing.”

Roberto De Zerbi
Roberto De Zerbi
The current betting favourite to be the next Tottenham Hotspur manager is Roberto De Zerbi at odds of Evens in the betting.
Tottenham reportedly tracked De Zerbi when he was in charge of Brighton in 2023 and even though the passionate Italian departed the Seagulls after only 18 months, he left a lasting impression with a memorable Europa League run.
The 46-year-old enjoyed relative success at Marseille before he left his role following a failure to make the Champions League knockout phase. Known for his prickly demeanour and attacking football, De Zerbi would tick certain boxes.
John Heitinga
John Heitinga
The second favourite to land the Spurs job is John Heitinga, who is currently priced up at odds of 5/4.
The Dutchman only joined Frank's backroom team in January shortly following his sacking as Ajax boss after just five months in charge. Held similar assistant roles at West Ham and Liverpool, where he helped the club lift the Premier League title last season.
Capped 87 times by his country and represented Ajax, Atletico Madrid, Everton, Fulham and Hertha Berlin during his playing career and could be in the running if the club choose a short-term option.
Robbie Keane
Robbie Keane
Another name heavily fancied for the Spurs job is former Tottenham talisman Robbie Keane who is an interesting proposition at 6/1 given his connections to the club and success thus far in his managerial career.
The Irish legend scored 122 goals in 306 appearances across two spells for Spurs, winning the League Cup in 2008, and is building a promising reputation since turning to management.
He won the league title in his only season with Maccabi Tel Aviv before repeating the trick with Ferencvaros, signing a new deal last December. Those successes have attracted interest from elsewhere and it would be a popular appointment with Spurs fans.
New Manager – Same Old Spurs?
Mauricio Pochettino
Mauricio Pochettino
The former Spurs boss has repeatedly expressed his desire to manage again in the Premier League and this week discussed his “special” connection to the north London club. While he is expected to lead the United States into this summer’s home World Cup, his contract expires after the tournament.
Given Pochettino turned Tottenham into title challengers, developed a talented young group of players and masterminded a remarkable run to the Champions League final in 2019, he may be top of most supporters’ wish list and his name was chanted during Tuesday’s loss to Newcastle.
Marco Silva
Marco Silva
Since securing promotion back to the Premier League in his first season at Fulham in 2021/22, the highly-regarded Portuguese has guided the Cottagers to places of 10, 13 and 11 in his three seasons in the top flight.
His contract is due to expire this summer although the club are confident of keeping him in west London.
Xavi
Xavi
Barcelona great Xavi has frequently been linked to Spurs across the last 12 months and been out of work since he left his old club at the end of the 2023-24 season.
Even though a weary-looking Xavi departed Camp Nou under a cloud after multiple U-turns over his final decision, the 45-year-old blooded young talents and won a first LaLiga title in four years for the Catalan outfit to enhance his reputation.
