Newcastle ’s impressive home record will be put to the test in Saturday’s evening kick-off as red-hot Erling Haaland and Man City roll into Toon.
Eddie Howe ’s troops are floundering in 14th place in the Premier League, seven points behind arch-rivals Sunderland in fourth and only two above the relegation zone.
However, things would be looking a lot worse if they were not so strong at St James’ Park , where they are on a five-match winning streak.
That will not worry City too much though as they have a good record at Newcastle and in Haaland have a striker who, incredibly, appears to have found yet another gear.
