Liverpool’s troubled campaign took a new twist following a sensational outburst by Mohamed Salah over the weekend, putting the winger’s Anfield future in doubt. The Egypt star was an unused substitute as the Reds drew 3-3 at Leeds, having now started three straight games on the bench.

In a bombshell post-match interview, Salah said: “It seems like the club has thrown me under the bus. That is how I am feeling. I think it is very clear that someone wanted me to get all of the blame.”

Having also admitted that his relationship with manager Arne Slot has broken down, BOYLE Sports are betting on whether Salah will move on during the upcoming January transfer window.

The 33-year-old, who has won two Premier League titles and a Champions League among a string of honours since joining Liverpool, is 11/10 to ride out the current storm and not agree a contract with any other team.

However, ahead of joining up with Egypt for the Africa Cup of Nations on December 15, he declared: “I don’t know what is going to happen when I am there.”

Mohamed Salah's Next Club Odds

To Stay With Liverpool @ 2/5

Mohamed Salah could still stay at Liverpool beyond 2027 despite the Elland Road rant and fractured bond with Arne Slot, who's under intense pressure amid a dismal run of nine losses in 12 games that has the Reds in 13th.

The two-year deal he signed in April (worth £350-400k/week plus bonuses) shows FSG's commitment, and though he's recently been benched by Arne Slot, with the Liverpool boss under-fire for his recent record, Slot may end up leaving before Salah does, given his higher acclaim and standing at the club.

Cristiano Ronaldo has been the crown jewel of the Saudi Pro League for the past few years, but with the 40-year-old’s amazing career surely coming to an end sooner rather than later, Salah has long been pinpointed as the competition’s next poster boy.

Money is no object for the energy superpower, with other notable signings in recent seasons including Salah’s former Anfield teammates Roberto Firmino and Darwin Nunez, and it is an odds-on shot for him to sign for any SPL club before February 3.

During his Elland Road rant, Salah sidestepped a specific question about interest from Saudi Arabia, stating: “I don’t want to answer this question, because the club is going to take me to a different direction.”

The big-spending Istanbul outfit are top of the Turkish Super Lig and have already upset Liverpool in the Champions League this season.

A summer spending spree saw Leroy Sane, Victor Osimhen and Ilkay Gundogan join the club, and this could be a nice stepping stone to see out the current campaign in Europe.

Having seen how David Beckham capitalised on moving to America and the recent success of Lionel Messi in Miami, the United States has plenty to offer in terms of exposure, especially with next year’s World Cup looming.

Fellow Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard could also be contacted for an insight into this competition following his stint in Los Angeles.

Bayern Munich are 16/1 to snap up Salah in the next transfer window, with Barcelona and PSG both quoted at 20/1 and Real Madrid at 25/1.

If the winger really wants to get back at Liverpool, though, how about 50/1 for a move to arch-rivals Manchester United !
