We have Kylian Mbappe next club odds for you in this post as the French star looks set to leave PSG this summer following recent reports.

Mbappe's Career So Far

Kylian Mbappe is inarguably one of the biggest names in football today, if not the biggest. The French forward has 239 club goals, 98 assists, 13 domestic trophies to go with a World Cup trophy all at the young age of 24. The only thing that eludes him is a Champions League trophy. However, despite the millions invested in superstar signings by PSG season after season in the likes of himself, Messi and Neymar, the club has continued to underperform in elite European competition. In fact, since Mbappe signed for PSG in 2018 they have been knocked out at the Round of 16 3/5 times. Their other two appearances being a Semi-Finals loss in 20/21 and their best finish being Runners-up in 19/20 to Bayern Munich.

Will Mbappe Leave PSG?

This season PSG were tamely knocked out of the Champions League by Bayern Munich in the Round of 16 to cap off another disappointing campaign in Europe's premier club competition. Mbappe has seemingly had enough of the club’s continued underperformance in the competition. It was announced yesterday that he will not trigger his contract extension clause this summer and with his deal due to expire in 2024 and PSG unwilling to let him leave on a free transfer next summer he looks set to leave in this summer transfer window.

? Kylian Mbappé has informed PSG of his decision: he’ll NOT trigger the option to extend current contract until 2025, it means that deal would expire next June 2024 — as L’Équipé called.

PSG position: NO plan to lose Kylian for free.Sign new deal now or he could be sold. pic.twitter.com/fDpSKOmxsf— Fabrizio Romano (@FabrizioRomano) June 12, 2023""
Last month, Sky Sports News confirmed that the three-year deal he signed last summer, was a two-year contract with the “player” option of a further year. It all feels a little like déjà vu but that hasn’t stopped yesterday’s announcement sending the world of football media and betting into a frenzy.

We preview where Mbappe could go next if he leaves Paris this summer.

Mbappe Next Club Odds

Real Madrid – 8/15

We have been here before, haven’t we? Real Madrid looked destined to sign him last summer. For months on end the Spanish outfit pursued him relentlessly led by Madrid president Florentino Perez. In a shock, Perez was remarkably burned at the eleventh hour when Mbappe decided to stay at the Parisian outfit following the lucrative deal offered to him by PSG. The short-term nature of that deal offered Mbappe an out again next season in a similar scenario if he desired.Madrid president Florentino Perez was said to be furious at the time, but with the departures of Benzema, Hazard and Asensio already a refusal to re-enter negotiations would be cutting off his nose to spite his face. This is how a Mbappe led Madrid could look.4-3-3 GK: Courtois, RB Carvajal, CB Militão, CB Rudiger, LB Mendy, DM, Tchouaméni, CM Bellingham, CM Camavinga, RW Valverde, CF Mbappe, LW Vinícius

PSG – 11/8

There is not much that needs to be said about this one, it’s almost like a bad relationship where one party begs the other to stay. They can work it out and proceed to lavish them with gifts to paper over the cracks. That being said Mbappe has shown himself to be fond of a short-term extension for a giant pay rise and one last go at the Champions League?Following a tweet from Mbappe on Tuesday afternoon, June 13th, denying the reports of him wanting to leave the odds on him staying at PSG have been slashed into 1/5.

MENSONGES…❌ En même temps plus c’est gros plus ça passe. J’ai déjà dis que je vais continuer la saison prochaine au PSG où je suis très heureux. https://t.co/QTsoBQvZKU

PSG are rumoured with a plethora of talent as always again next season and their starting XI could look a little like this in 23/24.4-3-3 GK: Donnarumma, RB Hakimi, CB Marquinhos, CB Min Jae, LB Mendes, DM, Pereira, CM Veratti, CM Vitinha, RW Neymar, CF Kane, LW Mbappe

Manchester United –  16/1

Erik ten Hag had a decent first season as Man United manager, securing silverware and European qualification. Had it not been for a severe lack of striking options and an overreliance on Marcus Rashford their season could’ve been even better.Mbappe certainly would fit the bill of boosting their attack and put them arguably on a par with cross-town rivals and treble champions Man City. While it seems far-fetched, if Sheikh Jassim, a member of the Qatari royal family completes his takeover of Manchester United then funding a move for Mbappe would become a far more likely option. This raises the prospect of the Red Devils overtaking PSG and becoming Qatar’s principal focus in European football. How could a new look Man United look?4-3-3 GK: Costa, RB Wan Bissaka, CB Varane, CB Martinez, LB Shaw, CM, Casemiro, CM Mount, AM Fernandes, RW Antony, CF Mbappe, LW Rashford

Manchester City – 50/1

The Treble Champions already have the freak that is Erling Haaland. Surely they couldn’t go for Mbappe? But if what the Abu Dhabi owners want is sustained European domination then you can be sure they will be monitoring his contract situation with PSG, especially with Silva and Gundogan amongst others linked with moves away.Imagine this side:3-2-4-1  GK: Ederson, RCB Walker, CB Dias, LCB Ake, CM Kimmich, CM, Rodri, RW Mahrez, AM De Bruyne, AM Gundogan, LW Mbappe, St Haaland

Newcastle – 50/1

Saudi-Backed Newcastle have secured Champions League Football for the 23/24 season and will be looking to not only put in a strong showing next season but will also harbour thoughts of putting in a title challenge.Manager Eddie Howe is doing an excellent job. Despite the likes of Isak and Wilson having decent seasons for the club, their success is built off a solid foundation at the back more than anything else. They may be looking for a statement signing up-front and who fits that bill better than Kylian Mbappe. It’s far-fetched but not impossible and would immediately turn the club into Champions League and Premier League contenders in my opinion.4-3-3 GK: Pope, RB Trippier, CB Min Jae, CB Botman, LB Tierney, DM Guimaraes, CM Maddison,  CM Willock, RW Almiron, CF Mbappe, LW Saint Maximin

Others Contenders To Sign Mbappe

Liverpool can be gotten at odds of 33/1 as they may look to line up their Salah successor. This is even more so the case since Darwin Nunez hasn’t hit the ground running in his first season but realistically their owners won’t spend the money required for the rumoured fan.Bayern Munich are also 50/1 as they look for a Lewandowski successor a year after Robert Lewandowski left and a chaotic year that ensued after that. Bayern don’t usually spend that sort of money though but expect their price to shorten considerably if he is a free transfer next summer. In other transfer news it looks like Harry Kane could finally be on the move from Tottenham this summer.
