Punters certainly got a shock on Sunday as Mayo gave Dublin a game of it at Croke Park resulting in a 2-09 to 0-15 draw.

The replay has been set for 5pm on Saturday 1st October and we have installed The Dubs at 1/2 to win in seventy minutes, 9/1 that we witness another draw and 2/1 that Mayo can win in seventy minutes.

Allowing for another draw, Jim Gavin’s Dublin are 2/5 to retain the Sam Maguire trophy with Mayo priced at 15/8 to finally end their 65 year drought.

The Handicap sees a two point spread priced up with Dublin minus two points shading odds on at 5/6 and Mayo plus two points priced at 6/5.

Sunday’s game wasn’t a one sided affair that punters were expecting. The Green and Red Mayo men battled back from a five-point half-time defecit to grab a last-gasp draw and make the two teams do battle again for another seventy minutes to win Sam Maguire on October 1st.

No doubt punters will now have faith in Mayo finally ending their All Ireland drought after their gallant performance against The Dubs...

and we are sure to see plenty of interest in the current 15/8 about Mayo lifting the Sam Maguire.""
