Sinn Féin are now even stronger favourites to win the next general election in Ireland after the party received another boost at the opinion polls.
The new Business Post/Red C poll saw support for Sinn Féin rise four points from last month to 33%, giving them an eight-point lead over Fine Gael, who fell three points to 25%.

The latest betting moves also suggest Sinn Féin are now comfortably in pole position to emerge from the next election with most seats in the Dáil after shortening again into 1/2 from 4/6, with Fine Gael eased slightly to 13/8 from 6/4.
Fianna Fáil are now distant 11/1 third favourites to win most seats next time out after support slumped further by one point to just 12%.
