A lucky Irish punter was left celebrating at the weekend after a stunning Lotto coup landed them a mouth-watering sum of cash from four numbers.

The County Louth customer took a €2.50 flutter in a local BoyleSports shop and picked out four numbers for the Irish Lotto Plus 2 draw taking place that evening.

They were left waiting on 4, 5, 10 and 11 to come out but faced a nail-biting finish as only three had dropped before the bonus ball. But when 11 rolled out to complete the draw, the Wee County punter had defied mammoth odds of 3,800/1.

They were then able to exchange their betslip for a whopping total of €9,502.50.

What a great time to pull off such a stunning win and it only took €2.50 to do it.""

We wish them huge congratulations and hope the winnings come in handy over the festive period.
