Slot’s side fancied for more silverware
Liverpool are red-hot 3/10 shots with BOYLE Sports to lift the FA Community Shield on Sunday when they take on Crystal Palace at Wembley Stadium.
Arne Slot’s side will also begin the competitive season as favourites to score back-to-back Premier League titles and begin their league campaign as 13/8 favourites ahead of Arsenal (9/4) and Man City (10/3).
Invincibles?
To replicate the Gunners’ Invincible 2002/3 season, Liverpool can be backed at 16/1 to remain unbeaten in their 38 league matches and are a significantly shorter 5/4 to swerve a loss at Anfield in their 19 home games.
Punters are also hoping new signings Hugo Ekitike and €100m ex-Bayer Leverkusen star Florian Wirtz can hit the ground running. Ekitike is just 5/4 to find the back of the net on Sunday, while Wirtz can be backed at 2/1.
Mateta Threat
With Palace likely to have to weather a power packed Liverpool attack, they are the 12/5 underdogs to add the Community Shield to May’s FA Cup success, with Jean Phillipe Mateta the shortest priced Eagle to score at 5/2.
Brian O’Keeffe, spokesperson for BOYLE Sports, said:
“The 24/25 campaign is one that will live long in the memory of Palace fans for all the right reasons, but it’s Liverpool that punters are backing to get their season off to a flier and have a full trophy cabinet when it all comes to an end.”
