Ligue 1 Tips
Ligue 1 Tips & Predictions: 4-Fold 13/1+ ACCA
Lille to Beat Toulouse
Lille to Beat Toulouse @ 8/11
Just one point separates these teams in the early table but Lille have impressed us much more in their last couple of outings, with Olivier Giroud’s late strike seeing off a strong Monaco outfit before Matias Fernandez-Pardo and Hamza Igamane both hit doubles in a stunning 7-1 success at Lorient.
Toulouse took advantage of a kind start by beating Nice and Brest but then had their limitations exposed in a 6-3 loss to PSG, when the scoreline was only made more respectable by a late brace in their favour.
Brest vs Paris FC BTTS
Brest vs Paris FC BTTS @ 4/7
Top-flight newcomers Paris FC have ambitious owners and that seems to have been transferred to a positive approach on the pitch, with Stephane Gilli’s side being bang in contention at Marseille until faltering late on to lose 5-2 and then edging out Metz 3-2 in a cracking contest.
Will Brest vs Paris FC Be a Goal-Fest?
Brest’s only home fixture so far ended in a 3-3 draw against Lille and the Pirates were the leading scorers in front of their own fans outside of the top seven in the table last term, which all points to a lively encounter at Stade Francis-Le Ble.
PSG to Beat Lens
PSG to Beat Lens & Over 2.5 Goals @ 4/6
The European champions laboured to 1-0 wins over Nantes and Angers at the start of yet another title defence but really opened up when smashing Toulouse for six on the road, with Joao Neves hitting a hat-trick and Ousmane Dembele bagging a penalty double.
Lens may feel like giving it a go in this game following back-to-back victories over Le Havre and Brest by a combined scoreline of 5-2, so let’s hope for an entertaining encounter at Parc des Princes.
Mets & Angers to Draw
Metz and Angers to Draw @ 23/10
The Maroons have predictably found life much tougher back in the top division and are yet to pick up a point from three outings, but they have been very competitive in two of those fixtures, only losing 1-0 at home to an 86th-minute Strasbourg strike and pushing Paris FC all the way until going down to 10 men late on.
All of the matches involving Angers have been close, with 1-0 decisions going either way before a 1-1 draw at home to Rennes, which suggests there is plenty of value in siding with a stalemate when they visit Metz.
