The concluding winners bumper (6.00) is often a very good race and Dermot Weld relies on First Figaro this time who was only beaten in the Champion Bumper at Cheltenham.
But in a wide open contest a tentative vote is given to Pat Kelly’s Licklighter.
Cases can be made for many of the runners but Kelly resisted the temptation of going back over hurdles this week to come here for this race and his decision may well be rewarded.
