Trainer Andrew Balding described Kameko as 'the best we've had for a long while' in his Kingsclere stable and now the stunning youngster has landed the 2000 Guineas at Newmarket at odds of 10/1, beating the 5/6 favourite Pinatubo.
Kameko finished his two-year-old season with an impressive three-and-a-quarter-length win in the Group One Vertem Futurity Trophy Stakes at Newcastle in November.
