Inter v Arsenal Preview
Inter’s Form
Inter were dominant winners of the Serie A last season coming 19 points clear of their bitter rivals Milan. They were also Supercoppa winners though their Champions League Round of 16 elimination was disappointing after reaching the final in 2023. Their weekend win reduced Napoli’s lead at the top of Serie A by 1 point.
Inter opened their Champions League campaign with a respectable 0-0 draw away to Man City at the Etihad. They followed up that draw with two victories on the bounce with a 4-0 victory over Red Star Belgrade and a 0-1 win over Young Boys to put them in a commanding early qualifying position.
Inter are a tactically well-drilled side under Simeone Inzaghi and look well-placed to avoid defeat at the San Siro and maintain their unbeaten start to the competition based on their current form.

Arsenal’s Form
Arsenal have certainly progressed as a side under Mikel Arteta; however, question marks remain on whether his squad possess the mental fortitude to win a major trophy ahead of the likes of Man City and Liverpool. Recent weeks have done little to curb those doubts with their latest league form already leaving them work to do with them 5th in the table 7 behind Liverpool and 5 behind Man City 10 games into the season.
Arsenal have looked better in the Champions League though. They opened their campaign with a 0-0 draw away to Atalanta before victories 2-0 against PSG and 1-0 against Shakhtar. This is their hardest game remaining in the league phase of the competition (on paper anyway) so avoiding defeat would put them in a strong qualifying position in the coming weeks.
They’re well capable of winning this game if they can turn up on the night.

Key Players To Watch
Lautaro Martinez – Inter
The Argentinian Striker and Inter Captain is one of the most underrated footballers in European Football, despite a record of 27 goals and 7 assists from 44 matches in all competitions this season. This season he has 6 goals and 4 assists in 13 games across all competitions.
He can be gotten at 11/2 to score in this game first and 2/1 to score any time in the game.
Bukayo Saka – Arsenal
In a footballing world where astronomical transfer fees have arguably taken the soul away from football, Bukayo Saka (23) is a Top Class RW who has come through the Arsenal academy. This season in the league from 13 games he has 4 Goals and 7 Assists and gets far too much criticism than his performances warrant.
Saka is priced at 8/1 for first goalscorer and 10/3 to score anytime.
Inter v Arsenal Prediction & Best Bet
Prediction: Inter 1-0 Arsenal
Inter are a good side and have shown themselves capable of being competitive against any side in football in recent seasons.
Arsenal are not in good form in the league, but their Champions League form looks to be more consistent, and they can’t be discounted in this game either.
The odds are extremely tight for a reason here and I could just about see any outcome occurring, but I think it will be a close game and the recent good form for Inter may turn it in their favour.
Best Bet: Inter Milan to win @ 13/8
