After weeks of Classic trials, Goodwood is the last call for Derby contenders to book Epsom tickets, and this unbeaten colt should oblige for the Gosdens in the Cocked Hat Stakes .
Saxon Street was slowly away and learning on the job on his sole run at two at Chelmsford , having to wait on the rail before running on powerfully once in the clear to suggest good things would await over middle distances at three.
That view was only reinforced on his reappearance at Epsom over 10 furlongs of the Derby course in the Blue Riband Trial , where he was well on top and going away at the line.
The extra furlong here is only going to suit, and he even looks a far from forlorn hope for the premier Classic at this stage.

This very likeable son of Bated Breath looks the best option in the Group Two Sandy Lane Stakes , which has been won by some smart sprinters down the years.
His two-year-old form bears pretty close inspection, beaten less than four lengths by Gstaad in the Coventry before accounting for subsequent Group One winner Puerto Rico at Goodwood . He also ran in a red-hot Prix Morny and claimed third in the Middle Park .
Coppull won the Commonwealth Cup trial at Ascot first time up this year, and trainer Clive Cox knows exactly what he is doing with this type of horse.
York 15:15 Tip
York 15:15 – Danielle
The fact that this well-bred mare has stayed in training as a five-year-old strongly points to connections believing she can significantly add to an already strong CV, starting out with victory in the Group Three Bronte Cup Fillies' Stakes .
Fifth at Ascot on British Champions Day, she absolutely bolted up at Doncaster in November in a race in which only Estrange had been too good for her 12 months earlier.

Haydock 15:30 – American Affair
The Jim Goldie -trained six-year-old will need to show more than he did at York recently to play a leading role in the Group Two Temple Stakes .
However, that was American Affair 's first run since his Group One victory at Royal Ascot last year, so he was entitled to be rusty, and ante-post money this week points to him going much better here.
