Saturday ITV Racing Tips: Cheltenham & Doncaster Picks Led by Noble Exhibit

There is something for everyone in this week’s ITV racing tips for Saturday, with top-class action on the Flat and over jumps.

Day two of Cheltenham’s Showcase meeting sees the National Hunt season step up another gear, while Doncaster stages Britain’s final Group One of the Flat season – and here are our best bets:

13:10 Cheltenham Tip

13:10 CHELTENHAM – SPECTACULARSUNRISE @ 9/2

Nigel and Willy Twiston-Davies have made their usual strong start to the autumn and can add to their tally with Spectacularsunrise in the opening William Hill Epic Boosts Novices’ Limited Handicap Chase .

While the six-year-old won a bumper and twice scored from seven attempts over hurdles, he always looked likely to make up into a better horse over fences and made a fine start in this discipline when prevailing comfortably at Perth last month. A 5lb rise in the ratings looks more than fair and he has a fitness advantage over some of his key rivals here.

13:30 Doncaster Tip

13:30 DONCASTER – NOBLE EXHIBIT (NAP) @ 6/5

Aidan O’Brien’s dominance of the Group One Futurity Trophy can continue as the Ballydoyle maestro seeks a 13th victory in this race and also looks to close in on another trainers’ title triumph. Noble Exhibit’s third-place finish on debut behind the useful Monogram offered plenty of hope for the future and the son of Frankel has duly delivered, with a wide-margin victory at Punchestown followed by an assured success in the Beresford Stakes.

Saratoga Springs (1997), St Nicholas Abbey (2009), Saxon Warrior (2017), Luxembourg (2021) and Hawk Mountain (2025) all won that Group Two prize for O’Brien before striking gold in the final Group One of the season in Britain, so Noble Exhibit is following a tried-and-tested route.

Royal Lodge runner-up Burning Up and Champagne Stakes third Breacher both promise to be suited by a mile on easy ground, but Noble Exhibit is expected to prove too strong and would take a big step towards a ninth British trainers’ title for his Irish handler.

14:05 Doncaster Tip

14:05 DONCASTER – HI CORBETT COURT @ 2/1

Paddy Twomey’s juvenile looked fairly ordinary after his first three starts, but he bolted up on his handicap debut at Sligo in early August and then pushed stablemate Trean close in the Goffs Million .

While sales race form can sometimes be difficult to quantify, Trean is a high-class operator, as proved by his previous good efforts in the Acomb and National Stakes , plus he was recently second in the Group Three Killavullan Stakes at Leopardstown . Stepping back from seven to six furlongs on Town Moor in the Prospect Stakes , Hi Corbett Court must have every chance of claiming a Listed success.

14:55 CHELTENHAM – MT FUGI PARK @ 9/2

Jonjo and AJ O’Neill are another father-son partnership in good form over jumps and they will be hoping hat-trick seeker Mt Fugi Park can extend his winning streak in the William Hill Best Odds Guaranteed Handicap Chase . The eight-year-old has struck up a good relationship with 5lb claimer Benjamin Macey, winning his last two starts at Worcester and Uttoxeter , and should go well again despite a big weight.
