This battle-hardened five-year-old is fancied to bounce back from his Coronation Cup reversal and provide Aidan O’Brien with a fifth success in this race.
The son of Galileo , who won the St Leger in 2024 before securing the above-mentioned Epsom Group One last summer, had started the season strongly with a comfortable Ormonde Stakes triumph , only for Bay City Roller to outstrip him a fortnight ago. However, Jan Brueghel has won six of his nine career races, proving his high-class ability, which has earned him an official rating of 123 – the best in this field .

Noriyuki Hori ’s charge can go one better than last year’s runner-up finish in his bid to become Japan’s first Royal Ascot winner . The seven-year-old six-furlong specialist was denied a historic victory 12 months ago when Lazzat held him off by half a length, but pulled well clear of the rest that day.
Japan’s shining light eased to Grade One success on home soil in March before being Ka Ying Rising’s closest rival in Hong Kong last time out to prove he remains at the elite level. Satono Reve will this time be partnered by Ryan Moore , whose quality and experience of the Berkshire track could be the difference, with the (hopefully) faster ground also a positive.

The Starman colt can build on his 2000 Guineas fourth and produce Jim Boyle ’s biggest victory of his training career.
Into The Sky only cost 25,000 guineas as a yearling, but he has earned more than double that in three race starts following brilliant performances in the Mill Reef Stakes and the first Classic of the season .
Only a length behind recent Scurry Stakes winner Words Of Truth in second at Newbury last September, he reappeared to take fourth on the Rowley Mile and should improve for that run.
