This Saturday’s ITV racing tips feature four selections from jump racing’s end-of-season jamboree at Sandown, plus a couple of ultra-competitive Flat contests at Leicester and Haydock.
Dan Skelton will celebrate a first National Hunt trainers’ title at the Esher track, while Sean Bowen has retained his top jockey crown in equally emphatic fashion, but here are our best bets on the box:

13:45 – Kadastral
It would be a bit of a let-down if Skelton doesn’t manage to get on the scoresheet after such an incredible season and this lightly-raced six-year-old is fancied to appreciate racing on better ground after twice being below-par in testing conditions since a very promising start to his hurdling career.
14:20 Oaksey Chase – Blow Your Wad
Gary and Josh Moore are always worth following at this track and their consistent eight-year-old stands out in the Grade Two Oaksey Chase on official ratings.
Blow Your Wad had performed with great credit in defeat behind smart winners in Jonbon and Heltenham before finishing a fine fourth of 22 in the Ultima at Cheltenham and then overcoming a slow start to secure a deserved success at Chepstow, so his profile appears rock-solid.
14:55 Celebration Chase – Jonbon
Nicky Henderson’s popular 10-year-old claimed the Grade One Celebration Chase in 2023 and 2024 before having to settle for second best behind Il Etait Temps last term.
Jonbon has been racing over further in his past couple of outings, but with three other elite-level course and distance wins to his credit, dropping back down to two miles at this stiff circuit should not be an issue.
Having been freshened up by sidestepping Aintree, he is taken to confirm the form of January’s Clarence House victory over Thistle Ask at Ascot.
15:30 bet365 Gold Cup – In D’Or (NAP)
Fergal O’Brien and stable jockey Johnny Burke are set to part company after this meeting and it would be a fitting end to their successful two-year stint together to bag a big prize in the bet365 Gold Cup.
In D’Or will arrive at Sandown fresh after missing out on running at Cheltenham and in the Grand National and looks well placed to capitalise on a handicap mark of 137.
That is 3lb higher than when third at Ascot last time out but the form of that contest has been franked several times over, with victor The Jukebox Kid and runner-up Montregard subsequently scoring in a higher grade and fourth-placed Kap Vert winning the Scottish National.

Heather Main’s five-year-old missed a recent engagement at Newmarket but remains on the one-to-follow list after showing good form on turf last term following a gelding operation and then landing a Wolverhampton all-weather win in eye-catching fashion.

James Tate’s charge improved for wearing cheekpieces when signing off last season with a smart success at Yarmouth and put a moderate all-weather run behind him when returning to turf with a staying-on third in the Cammidge Trophy at Doncaster, which gives him each-way claims here.
