Another Ballydoyle inmate who has yet to recapture her decent juvenile form, which featured a couple of group-class wins, although she did show a bit more than her final placing suggests in the Ribblesdale at Royal Ascot .

Could only manage a distant fifth at Epsom and was a disappointing favourite at Naas after that, but a return to faster ground may at least suit this decisive Lingfield Oaks Trial victor .
Sugar Island
8. SUGAR ISLAND @ 20/1
Signed off last season by beating Thundering On over a mile at this venue but was almost 10 lengths adrift of that rival when just hanging on for third in the English Oaks .
Rebel Moon
7. REBEL MOON @ 11/1
The least fancied of Joseph O’Brien’s trio of entries is unbeaten after two outings but has far more on her plate than when edging out subsequent Lancashire Oaks third Caught U Sleeping by a neck in a Naas Group Three event .
Sparan Nua
6. SPARAN NUA @ 9/1
Jim Bolger’s late bloomer made it three from three when staying on strongly to land the Munster Oaks at Cork and now seeks to give her handler a third win in this race after being supplemented at a cost of €50,000.
Inis Mor
5. INIS MOR @ 7/1
Just held off Earth Shot to strike at Goodwood before finishing a very creditable third behind Diamond Necklace in the French Oaks and David Menuisier’s charge will again have the benefit of Oisin Murphy in the saddle as she tests her stamina over a mile and a half for the first time.

Made all to land a Leopardstown maiden in fine fashion but still showed signs of greenness when just headed late on by Earth Shot at Royal Ascot , so there could still be scope for more improvement from this stoutly-bred Sea The Stars filly .

William Haggas is excited to give his progressive Ribblesdale winner a shot at Classic glory after she stormed home to get up in the final strides at Royal Ascot , although the Newmarket handler has admitted he would have preferred a bit of rain in the build-up.

Minnie Hauk made it eight Irish Oaks winners for Aidan O’Brien last term and this smart Cheshire Oaks scorer is his best chance of adding to that tally, with going conditions expected to be more in her favour than when faltering as a well-backed market leader at Epsom .
Thundering On
1. THUNDERING ON @ 9/4
Was a beaten favourite in fourth when dropping back in trip on a slicker surface in the Pretty Polly here, but the feeling is that she deserves another chance to prove her sensational Oaks victory at Epsom was no flash in the pan. The daughter of Frankel dazzled on the Surrey Downs when scorching clear of Legacy Link and Joseph O’Brien said: “She’s trained well since the Pretty Polly and we’re looking forward to seeing her back on the track. Going back up in trip should suit her well hopefully.”
