Old Park Star and Mighty Park head the 2026 Supreme Novices' Hurdle odds but there is a slight fear that a battle up front involving the favourites may set things up for the fast finishers in behind.
With BOYLE Sports offering money back as a FREE Bet if your horse loses in the first race every day at the Cheltenham Festival (up to £/€10), we're taking a look at three other contenders who could prove value alternatives.

Supreme Novices' Hurdle Tips – Cheltenham Festival Day 1
Mydaddypaddy
Mydaddypaddy – 15/2
Dan Skelton's imposing five-year-old was the early ante-post favourite for this contest after following up a wide-margin Huntingdon bumper win with comfortable victories over timber at Carlisle and Haydock.
Mydaddypaddy tasted defeat in the Grade One Formby at Aintree on Boxing Day, when travelling strongly but then failing to pick up Idaho Sun.
However, there were excuses for that setback, as two hurdles in the home straight were omitted on both circuits due to low sun, making it a messy affair.
It feels significant that Skelton has kept the faith by targeting this race next, rather than looking to pick up another decent prize along the way.
"I could have done things differently in the lead up to the Formby and I think he's a better horse than you saw there," said the trainer.
"I think our horse is coming into the sort of form we need him to be in and I think he'll put up a career best - if that's good enough, we'll find out."
El Cairos
El Cairos – 9/1
Showed huge potential when fifth in last year's Champion Bumper at Cheltenham and then second in a similar event at Punchestown, both times being hampered by hanging left late on under amateur rider David Maxwell.
Subsequently changed hands for €200,000 and was switched from the Moores to Gordon Elliott, who has not hidden how highly he rates the six-year-old.
Was all set to score on his jumping debut at Leopardstown until stumbling badly and falling after the final flight but made amends when easily accounting for a big field at Thurles.
"The Supreme has been the plan all along for El Cairos and he's in good form," declared Elliott. "The owners are great lads and it would be great to get them another Cheltenham winner (after Mount Ida in the 2021 Kim Muir)."
Talk The Talk
Talk The Talk – 4/1
Joseph O'Brien's charge boasts a fine turn of foot in the closing stages and has already walked the walk with two big runs in Grade One company.
Talk The Talk came to pick off Skylight Hustle at Leopardstown over the festive period only to take a tumble on landing after the last but showed no ill-effects from that incident when getting up on the line to beat Ballyfad at the same track during the Dublin Racing Festival.
Although only scoring by a short-head, most observers felt that performance could be marked up due to the fact that he flew home from the rear on heavy ground that generally favoured those up front throughout.
"His preparation has gone well and we're looking forward to Cheltenham with him," commented O'Brien.
