Honeysuckle
Champion mare Honeysuckle will be one of the main attractions at Fairyhouse this Sunday as she heads the Winter Festival entries for the Hatton’s Grace Hurdle.

This Henry De Bromhead trained 7-year-old has won the last two running’s of this Grade One contest and if she manages to win another one, she will become the third mare in history to bag three titles and join the great Apples Jade and Solerina.

We had chalked this UK and Irish Champion Hurdle winner up at 8/11 to create more history at the Co. Meath venue but the support is strong meaning her chances are already into a short 4/7.""

She faces some classy opposition with recent Grade 3 Horse & Jockey Hotel Hurdle winner Saldier who is 9/2 from 9/1 for Willie Mullins while his Klassical Dream is the current 3/1 second favourite and mare Stormy Ireland at 14/1.

Gordon Elliott’s Grade One Aintree Hurdle winner Abacadabras is 10/1 while his dual-Cheltenham Festival winner Sire Du Berlais is a 20/1 chance in the betting.
