Fitzpatrick Brothers Seek To Continue Winning Form

New world number three Matt Fitzpatrick will get the chance to turn his hot streak into a family affair when he links up with younger brother Alex at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans. The tournament is the only team event on the PGA Tour and will feature alternate rounds of fourballs and foursomes over the four days, with the winning pair walking off with more than 1.3 million dollars in prize money.

The Fitzpatrick brothers failed to make the cut last year, tumbling out at nine under par as American duo Andrew Novak and Ben Griffin went on to take the title at 28 under, but the in-form Englishmen should fare much better this time. Matt Fitzpatrick heads to TPC Louisiana having climbed to a career-high third in the world rankings following a stunning run over the last six weeks which has seen him win both the Valspar Championship and RBC Heritage, finish runner-up at the Players and 18th at the Masters.

Alex Fitzpatrick , meanwhile, recorded his first DP World Tour title last time out at the Hero Indian Open, having finished sixth at the Joburg Open in his previous outing.

Matt Fitzpatrick said following Sunday's play-off win over Scottie Scheffler at the Heritage: "I'm so excited. My brother is playing well, as well, so yeah, hopefully keep it rolling.

"I know there's still areas that I want to improve on. I know it's a cliche, but I know there's things that can still improve in certain areas. So that's obviously exciting, given the results I've achieved so far and what's to come."

Lowry Swaps Rors For Brooks

Lowry Swaps Six-Time Major Winner For Five-Time Major Winner

The Sheffield-born siblings are 9/1 joint favourites alongside the new-look pairing of Shane Lowry and Brooks Koepka for victory this weekend.

Lowry won the Zurich Classic in tandem with Rory McIlroy in 2024 and tied for 12th last year, but the all-Irish partnership has been put on hold with the 2026 Masters champion taking a break. Lowry will now team up with former US Open and PGA Championship winner Koepka, who has not played the Zurich Classic since 2019 but comes into the event in decent form with four top-20 finishes in his last five starts.

Defending champions Novak and Griffin are 12/1 to become the first pairing to successfully retain their title. Last year's victory was a first on the PGA Tour for both players but Griffin would follow it up with two more titles and a debut Ryder Cup appearance in a breakthrough campaign.

Sudarshan Yellamaraju and Ryan Gerard are also 12/1 to conquer TPC Louisiana, while Aaron Rai and Sahith Theegala and Michael Thorbjornsen and Karl Vilips are both 14/1 .
