A football punter in Woking is celebrating a significant boost to their finances just ahead of the festive season after they pocketed over £65,000 from an ambitious football flutter.
The anonymous winner wasn’t to be caught napping during the international break as they placed a bullish £50 accumulator online with BOYLE Sports on a total of 16 selections across the EFL Trophy and non-League in England.
The punter was banking on an array of goals on Tuesday evening as they backed at least three goals to be scored in 16 matches, with all but one of the selections rated an odds-on shot.

There was a nail-biting finale in store as a 94th-minute winner from Peterborough against Bromley was required to get them over the line, just as the coup looked set to fall agonisingly short by just one goal.
But when the final whistle sounded on their winning selections, the lucky customer’s account balance was instantly boosted by a whopping total of £65,317.03.
