The favourite for the opener at Goodwood is Subsequent who is trained by Andrew Balding for owner Mrs Fitri Hay at odds of 4/1 as the horse seeks a third successive victory. Up 7 lbs from his last race but looks open to further improvement.

Elsewhere French Duke is 9/2 but further improvement is expected from his 6/19 at Royal Ascot last time out. Lord of Love is 5/1 to make it three successive wins on the spin. Bar is 8/1.

14:25 - 7f Visit Qatar Oak Tree Stakes (Group 3) (Fillies & Mares) (Class 1) (3yo+)

Favourite for this Group 3 affair is Jabaara at odds of 11/4 who will be ridden by jockey James Doyle for trainer Roger Varian who will be looking to win for the third time in his last four races.

Kathmandu from five outings has only been outside the first three on two occasions but will need to improve on his 5/12 finish at Deauville in France earlier this month. Fair Angelllica is 5/1 for jockey Ryan Moore and trainer Richard Hughes and could be one to watch. Bar is 6/1.

15:00 - 5f Jaeger-Lecoultre Molecomb Stakes (Group 3) (Class 1) (2yo)

The Archie Watson-trained horse Aesterius who is pencilled into to be ridden by jockey James Doyle is a comfortable favourite at odds of 9/4 per the latest odds at BoyleSports. The horse won last time out at Sandown to make it two wins from three outings and looks to be a fast sort for this company.

Second favourite is Celandine at odds of 6/1 for the jockey-trainer duo of Tom Marquand and Ed Walker and has two wins from four runs and a third in France last time out. Bar is 8/1.

15:35 - 1m Qatar Sussex Stakes (Group 1) (British Champions Series) (Class 1) (3yo+)

Per the latest odds at BoyleSports, we’ve two horses currently fighting for favouritism ahead of the Qatar Sussex Stakes. Henry Longfellow trained by A P O’Brien and will be rode by Ryan Moore is a previous Group 1 winner at 6/4. Second in the betting is Notable Speech at odds of 13/8 for jockey William Buick and trainer Charlie Appleby and is a previous 2,000 Guineas winner.

Elsewhere Facteur Cheval is 5/1 and Maljoom is 8/1 in the current betting market. Bar is 8/1

16:10 - 1m2f British Stallion Studs EBF Fillies' Handicap (Class 2) (3yo+ 0-105)

Ahead of this Handicap Chase Power of Destiny for the duo of jockey Oisin Murphy and trainer Sir Michael Stoute is the current favourite at odds of 11/4. The filly has never been outside of the first three from three race-ridden.

The second favourite is Elladonna at odds of 4/1 for the jockey-trainer duo of Ryan  Moore and James Fanshawe and has won well in its last two starts on the track. Bar is 6/1.

16:45 - 5f British Stallion Studs EBF Alice Keppel Fillies' Conditions Stakes (GBB/IRE Incentive Race) (Class 2) (2yo)

Cota De Caza at odds of 6/5 is the current runaway favourite for this race. Trained by Simon & Ed Crisford and ridden by jockey Harry Davies. The horse on debut was a close third at Lingfield and won the second time of asking at Beverley.

Convo is second favourite at odds of 11/2 for trainer Amy Murphy and is the top-rated horse in the field. Bar is 8/1.

17:20 - 7f HKJC World Pool Handicap (Class 3) (3yo+ 0-95)

Ahead of the final race at this Glorious Goodwood meeting Miss Information is the leading market fancy at odds of 3/1 for jockey Oisin Murphy and trainer Andrew Balding. However, this filly is up 12 lbs in weight from her latest flying success at Epsom.

Second, in the betting is Billyjoh at odds of 6/1, ran poorly last time out at Ascot but is usually a consistent sort and so has claims in this field. Bar is currently at 15/2.
