Monaco Grand Prix Odds & Preview

Oscar Piastri – 13/8

Favourite for the Monaco Grand Prix is the current leader in the Drivers' Championship, Oscar Piastri (23) for McLaren Mercedes, who finished third at the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix last weekend.

He had a breakthrough year on the circuit last season, securing maiden wins on the tour at both the Hungarian Grand Prix and the Azerbaijan Grand Prix. he finished the season finishing 4th place in the Drivers Championship, five places higher than his debut season in 2023.

Piastri opened the 2025 season with a disappointing 9th finish at the Australian Grand Prix, but since then he hasn’t looked back, winning 4 of the next 5 races: the Chinese Grand Prix,  Bahrain Grand Prix, Saudi Arabian Grand Prix and the Miami Grand Prix.

Last weekend, he qualified at the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix, he qualified in Pole Position but eventually finished in third place, overcoming questionable team strategies and an extra pit stop to secure a P3 finish.

At the 2024 Monaco Grand Prix, he finished runner-up behind Charles Leclerc, but he looks a worthy favourite ahead of this weekend’s race.

Lando Norris – 2/1

The second favourite for the Monaco Grand Prix is another one of the sport's rising stars on the track, Lando Norris (25), a teammate of Piastri, currently only trailing him by 13 points in the Drivers' Championship.

Norris also had a breakout season last year when he finished runner-up in the Drivers Championship on 374 points, only behind winner Max Verstappen for Red Bull, who had 437 points. His best performance came when he won the 2024 Miami Grand Prix.

His 2025 season started in the best way possible at the Australian Grand Prix, taking Pole Position and posting the Fastest lap to win ahead of Max Verstappen and George Russell. Since then, he’s been ultra-consistent finishing 2nd, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 2nd, 2nd and 2nd, posting the fastest lap at 4/7 races too.

Last weekend, he qualified at the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix. he continued his consistency, finishing runner-up this time behind Max Verstappen.

At the 2024 Monaco Grand Prix, he finished fourth behind Charles Leclerc, Oscar Piastri and Carlos Sainz Jr and is a major player for a better result this coming weekend.

Max Verstappen – 3/1

The third favourite for the Monaco Grand Prix is Max Verstappen (27), who is coming off his second race win of the season last weekend at the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix.

Despite a close to half a decade of dominance on the circuit ahead of the season, Red Bull were expected to struggle to retain the Drivers Championship and even more so to compete for the Constructors Championship with the Red Bull car finishing fourth fastest in pre-season testing behind McLaren, Mercedes and Ferrari.

Though not the dominant force he has been in previous seasons, his exceptional race craft and experience have helped him stay competitive for Red Bull this season. At the Japanese Grand Prix, he took Pole Position and went on to win the race, and he took Pole Position in Saudi Arabia and Miami.

Last weekend, he was again brilliant, posting the Fastest Lap, earning Pole Position before going on to win ahead of Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri. He is now third in the Drivers Championship, only 9 points behind Lando in second.

Charles Leclerc - 6/1

Next in the betting for the Monaco Grand Prix is another Ferrari Driver, Charles Leclerc (27), who won this event last year, which was his maiden victory on his home soil

Ahead of the 2025 season and amid the partnership with Lewis Hamilton, LeClerc stated that he was "ready to win the championship". In the opening race of the season, he finished eighth at the rain-affected Australian Grand Prix due also to a “strategic error”

Following his opening day disappointment, he’s become more consistent, finishing 5th, 4th, 4th, 3rd, 7th before last weekend's race, where he finished 6th at the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix in Italy.

This is Leclerc's home race, and following the scenes of his maiden victory last year, it’s clear he will be extra pumped up for this race.

George Russell- 6/1

Fifth favourite in the betting for the Monaco Grand Prix is Mercedes Driver, George Russell (27), who is currently fourth in the Drivers Championship.

Russell has been considered one of the sports rising stars for years but as of yet he's yet to finish higher than his 4th finish in the 2022 Drivers Championship and last year finished a disappointing 7th place.

In 2025 he's seems to have found greater consistency boasting finishes of 3rd, 3rd, 5th, 2nd, 5th, 3rd though last weekend he finished 7th which was his worst result of the season so far.

At last years Monaco Grand Prix he finished 4th behind Leclerc, Piastri and Sainz Jr but is well capable of another podium finish come the weekend.

George Russell to win - 16/1

Lewis Hamilton - 18/1

Rounding off the market leaders for the Monaco Grand Prix is Lewis Hamilton (40), who has won this race in 2008, 2016 and 2019.

While the days of Hamilton's dominance on the F1 circuit are behind us, when the stars align, he remains a force on any circuit. At the Chinese Grand Prix, he took victory in the Sprint, and last weekend he recovered from starting 12th on the grid to finish 4th overall, demonstrating strong racecraft.

Hamilton finished 7th in this race last year, but if those above him in the market have poor days, he is well capable of challenging for a podium finish.

Lewis Hamilton to win – 18/1
