Form Guides

West Ham United Form Guide

West Ham United on Sunday will be looking to bounce back from their 3-0 defeat to Brentford last weekend and continue their fight for survival in the Premier League. The Hammers currently sit in eighteenth position but have gone tit for tat with fellow London rivals Tottenham in their last five games, with both earning seven points, and are only one point behind them in the table with three games remaining.

Ahead of Sunday’s game, Nuno Espírito Santo has averaged 1.09 points per game across his eleven fixtures managed against Arsenal, though the Gunners did come out on top, winning 2-0 in their last head-to-head fixture back in October through a goal each from Declan Rice and Bukayo Saka.

West Ham United are unbeaten in their last six home Premier League fixtures with three wins and three draws, their longest unbeaten run since between September 2015 and April 2016 in their final season at Upton Park (15 games).

Arsenal’s Form Guide

Mikel Arteta has brought Arsenal to the brink of the club's first Premier League title in over two decades, with their last success coming in the 03/04 season when they finished eleven points clear of closest challengers Chelsea, finishing the campaign “invincible” with no defeats. Though this time around it’s closer, with three league games remaining, three wins will certainly secure the title away from Man City.

Last weekend, they showed no signs of season-ending nerves when they had a comfortable 3-0 victory over Fulham at the Emirates Stadium following a brace from Viktor Gyökeres and a goal from Bukayo Saka.  That was followed by a 1-0 win over Atletico Madrid midweek, which secured a 3-2 win on aggregate and means they reached their first Champions League final since the 05/06 season.

Arsenal have scored the opening goal inside the first ten minutes of their last two league games, scoring in the nineth minute against Newcastle and Fulham . They haven’t done that in three consecutive games since September/October 2022 against Leeds , Sunderland and Everton .

Key Players To Watch

Key Players To Watch

Jarrod Bowen - West Ham United

The Hammers talisman has been a threat on all fronts this season, with ten goals and eleven assists across thirty-nine games in all competitions. In his last six home Premier League games, he has seven assists; only Paulo Di Canio (9 in 99/00) and Eyal Berkovic (8 in both 97/98 and 98/99) have assisted more home goals in a campaign for West Ham United.

Anytime Goalscorer Jarrod Bowen @ 3/1

Bukayo Saka - Arsenal

The Right Winger comes into this game on the back of two goals in his last two games in all competitions, which takes his tally for the season to eleven goals and eight assists across forty six games in all competitions. He enter this game on the back of a stronger record against West Ham United than he has against any other opponent, with his five goals and four assists with those nine goal involvements in his last eight games against The Hammers.

Anytime Goalscorer Bukayo Saka @ 13/8

Prediction & Best Bet

West Ham United v Arsenal Prediction & Best Bet

Prediction: West Ham United 1-1 Arsenal

West Ham United find themselves in a battle to beat the drop, but have every chance of leapfrogging Tottenham if they can end the season strongly.

Arsenal’s title hopes are in their hands, which is more than they could’ve asked for with three games remaining.

Two sides battling at either end of the table could create a tense, tight affair on Sunday, but I fancy another twist in the tale with the home side getting at least a point.
