Wolves’ 4-0 drubbing at West Ham left them 15 points from West Ham in 17th place with only six games left, and they will be down if results go against them this weekend.

Howe will be determined to give Newcastle fans something to cheer about when his old club Bournemouth visit St James’ Park. The Magpies have lost six of their last 10 matches, including home defeats to Everton , M anchester City and, most painfully, Sunderland . Newcastle were also thrashed 7-2 by Barcelona, and last Sunday conceded twice late on to suffer an agonising 2-1 defeat at Crystal Palace .

Bournemouth head to Tyneside, rocked by the news that boss Andoni Iraola will be leaving at the end of the season. The 11th-placed Cherries are well in the fight for a European spot, sitting three points behind Chelsea in sixth, but draws could be their undoing - six in their last eight games and 15 overall in the league this season.
