Form Guides

Nottingham Forest Form Guide

Nottingham Forest have had a busy but positive 2026 pre-season, recording five wins, one draw and three defeats, with each defeat coming against strong opposition: Sporting CP 4-1, Udinese 1-0 and Barcelona 1-0. Given the frequency of fixtures and level of opposition played in the last few weeks, the players should be ready to go for Saturday.

Oliver Glasner was appointed as head coach on the 6th of July following the departure of Vítor Pereira. The Austrian arrives at the club on the back of a strong reputation, having guided Crystal Palace to successes in the FA Cup , Community Shield and UEFA Conference League .

Igor Jesus is the man to look out for from a home perspective on Saturday, coming off the back of a pre-season where he found the net four times. His mobility, link-up ability and general physicality is a handful for defenders to deal with.

Leeds’s United Form Guide

Leeds United enter the first weekend of the season on the back of a positive pre-season where, in ninety-minute matches, they had four victories, including one against Liverpool, a nd a 1-1 draw against Man United in the BOYLE Sports Cup, where they were unlucky to lose 5-4 on penalties. Their only defeat was in a 2-3 thriller against Wrexham in their first pre-season game.

Daniel Farke was first appointed to the Leeds United role in July 2023, before losing in the playoff final to Southampton in his first season. There was no second-season syndrome though, guiding them to the Championship title with a hundred-point total in the 24/25 season. On their return to the Premier League last season, they finished a solid fourteenth and also made the FA Cup semi-finals.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin will likely lead the line for them on Saturday, and his aerial threat, hold-up play and clinical finishing ability mean it would be no surprise if he makes an impact in this fixture.
