Liverpool should continue their improved form with victory over a Fulham side who have yet to win under former Reds defender Alvaro Arbeloa .
The 2025 champions started the season in shaky fashion, needing late levellers to earn points against Newcastle and Nottingham Forest , but now host Fulham chasing a third successive win.
They saw off Ipswich to hand Andoni Iraola his first victory as Reds boss before beating Atletico Madrid in midweek, although they again needed to come from behind.
Fulham’s results could hardly be worse and they are down in 19th spot after losing their opening three matches.
Arbeloa will be hoping a return to Anfield , where he spent three seasons and played in the 2007 Champions League final , can spark a change of fortune but we expect it to be Liverpool celebrating at full-time.
With both sides struggling to keep clean sheets, we’re going for a home win with BTTS @ 13/8 .

Liverpool could easily have started Iraola’s reign with back-to-back defeats after twice trailing to Newcastle and Forest .
But late equalisers from Dominik Szoboszlai and Victor Munoz salvaged 2-2 draws in both games and then an early brace from Alexander Isak saw off promoted Ipswich 2-0 at Portman Road, leaving Liverpool with five points from three games.
The Reds needed to mount another comeback in midweek after falling behind in their Champions League opener against Atletico , but Szoboszlai got them back on terms before Alexis Mac Allister netted a 50th-minute winner.

Mac Allister’s goal came after revealing on Tuesday he was “very sad” at not receiving a new Liverpool contract over the summer, and the Argentina international will surely be out to push his case again against Fulham.

The World Cup winner is 7/2 to get on the scoresheet once more .
Fulham form guide
Replacing Marco Silva was always going to be a tricky task and life hasn’t been easy for his successor Álvaro Arbeloa.
The Spaniard, who had an ill-fated spell in charge of Real Madrid last season, has lost all three of his Premier League matches so far and only promoted Coventry have had a worse start.
Fulham may have felt they deserved more but successive 3-2 home defeats to Chelsea and Crystal Palace either side of a 1-0 loss at Sunderland paints a worrying picture with Liverpool and Manchester United next up in the league.

The Cottagers at least managed to secure Carabao Cup progress, with goals from Emile Smith Rowe, Rodrigo Muniz and Gonzalo Garcia seeing off AFC Wimbledon 3-0 and setting up a third-round trip to West Ham .
Fulham now head to Anfield, where they have suffered four defeats and a draw in their last five visits, including a 2-0 loss last season.
However, the Cottagers have led at half-time in two of those matches and they are 5/2 to win either half this weekend .
