Liverpool head to Crystal Palace with momentum stalled and confidence dented after two defeats in the space of four days. The Reds started the season slowly under Andoni Iraola but looked to be finding their flow after claiming eight wins in 12 matches, including last week’s Carabao Cup penalty shoot-out victory over Chelsea.
However, any hopes of Liverpool mounting a Premier League title challenge suffered a huge setback last Sunday when they were beaten 1-0 at home by Arsenal, a result that left them nine points behind the champions. Liverpool then saw their 100% record in the Champions League come to an end on Wednesday night after twice surrendering a lead to lose 3-2 at Fenerbahçe.
Iraola’s men will now be desperate to get back on track at Selhurst Park, especially with their next two league games coming against their two biggest rivals, Manchester United and Everton. Palace won this corresponding fixture 2-1 last season but we think it will be Liverpool who take the points this time, with our prediction being an away win with BTTS @ 15/8.

Form Guides
Crystal Palace Form Guide
Palace are still searching for consistency under new boss Pierre Sage, having won five and lost seven of their 15 matches so far. They have only managed to string together back-to-back wins once and have dropped into the relegation zone on the back of defeats to Brighton (5-0), Newcastle (2-0) and Spurs (2-0).
However, on the flip side they are through to the quarter-finals of the Carabao Cup, where they have a very winnable home game against Sunderland, and have p icked up a solid five-point haul from their opening four Europa League games. They snatched a last-gasp draw with 10 men against Hoffenheim on Thursday thanks to Daichi Kamada’s fourth goal of the season, and the experienced Japan forward is 5/1 to net another against Liverpool.
And with the Reds having only kept four Premier League clean sheets this term, the likes of Eddie Nketiah, last season's match-winner, and Spain winger Yeremy Pino could be goalscoring options too. Pino has also seen yellow in six of his last nine games.
Liverpool Form Guide
Liverpool may have had a bad week and question marks remain about elements of their game, especially in defence, but the Reds are still in a healthy situation and have plenty to be optimistic about. They are currently fifth in the Premier League, four points off third spot, still in Europe and through to the Carabao Cup quarter-finals, while Alexander Isak was on the scoresheet once again in midweek.
The Sweden striker struck his first Champions League goal for the club just moments after being brought on in the 66th minute, and he now has seven for the season – almost double his tally from last term. Isak will hope to return to the starting line-up for the trip to Palace, against whom he scored during Liverpool's 3-1 home win in April, and BOYLE Sports have a Super Boost offer where you can get EVS for the £125million hitman to either score or assist on Sunday.
It might also be worth looking at bookings here. Liverpool are fourth in the Premier League for cautions, having had 21 in nine games, and Alexis Mac Allister, Miloš Kerkez and Virgil van Dijk are possible candidates to pick up their fourth yellows of the campaign.
