Manchester City travel to inconsistent Chelsea in what could be a defining weekend in the Premier League title race. City host Arsenal in a battle of the top two next week, but the outcome of that eagerly anticipated encounter could well be moot if they do not win at Chelsea on Sunday afternoon.

With the Gunners at home to mid-table Bournemouth in Saturday’s early match, City could be 12 points adrift of the league leaders by the time they kick-off time at Stamford Bridge.
