However, their season is still in the balance with five games remaining in their season; they’re only three ahead of Waterford and, most importantly, Drogheda in the relegation playoff place. They also have an FAI Cup semi-final against Derry City to look forward to next month.
Last weekend they played Derry City, coming out the wrong end of a narrow 1-0 defeat. That result keeps them in the relegation playoff conversation at least for a couple of more weeks. However, with seven points from their last five league games putting them fifth in the form table, they should have enough to secure safety.
