The Carabao Cup second round takes place this week and we’ve selected a four-game acca from Tuesday and Wednesday’s action which would bring a near-30/1 pay-out.

Bradford vs Burnley
Bradford to beat Burnley @ 9/4
League One high-flyers Bradford will be eyeing a cup upset when they take on Championship outfit Burnley on Wednesday night. The Bantams have shrugged off the disappointment of May’s late play-off final defeat to Bolton by starting their 2026-27 campaign with clean-sheet victories over Rochdale , Peterborough and Sheffield Wednesday .
That has left them two points clear at the top of League One ahead of the visit of Burnley , who are 18th in the Championship following relegation and yet to hit their stride under new boss Nicky Hayen.
Cambridge vs Millwall
Millwall to win at Cambridge @ 6/5
Millwall have picked up where they left off last season to sit atop the Championship following victories over Bristol City and Norwich and the Londoners should also beat Cambridge to make it four wins from four this month.
The Lions suffered just three defeats in their final 18 regular-season games last term as they finished one point behind second-placed Ipswich , only to then suffer a surprise play-off semi-final exit to Hull .
Cambridge have also had a decent start to the new season, following up their cup win over Barnet with a 3-2 home victory over Wigan and a 1-1 draw at Bromley in League One . Boss Neil Harris will know more than most about Millwall , having spent a large portion of his playing and managerial career at the Den , but we think his former club will come out on top.
Tottenham vs Charlton
Tottenham to beat Charlton and BTTS @ 7/4
Tottenham boss Roberto De Zerbi may have been eyeing the Carabao Cup as a chance to experiment, but Saturday’s drubbing by Brentford means he can ill afford another bad day at the office against in-form Charlton .
Despite big-money summer signings Sandro Tonali, Jan Paul van Hecke and Mateus Fernandes all featuring, Spurs were swept aside 3-0 by the Bees in their Premier League opener in embarrassing fashion.
In contrast, Charlton will make the short trip across London sitting third in the Championship and with confidence soaring after winning all three of their games so far this season, including a 2-1 victory at West Ham at the weekend.
Preston vs Everton
Everton to win at Preston @ 11/20
David Moyes takes Everton back to his former club Preston looking to build on a promising start to their Premier League campaign. Everton finished 13th last season after a poor end to the season but got off on a winning note on Saturday as goals from Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Thierno Barry earned a 2-0 home victory over UEFA Conference League holders Crystal Palace.
Preston are not in such a good place. They needed a 90th-minute equaliser to avoid a Carabao Cup first-round exit to Huddersfield , Paul Heckingbottom’s men eventually progressing on penalties, and have since been beaten by Bolton and Wolves in their opening two Championship matches.
