With Julian Alvarez on a hot streak, netting six goals in those three victories, we’re backing Atletico to continue their rise up the LaLiga table.
Celta were without a win in eight matches before beating PAOK in the Europa League, but all of the results have been close, including five successive 1-1 draws, so Diego Simeone’s Atletico will have to work hard for the points.
Bundesliga Tip
BAYERN MUNICH TO WIN AT EINTRACHT FRANKFURT & OVER 3.5 TOTAL GOALS @ 5/4
Eintracht Frankfurt have been the team to watch for entertainment this season, with 47 goals scored in total at an average of almost six per match, and we cannot see it being any different this weekend.
Bayern have won all nine of their matches, scoring a bucket load of goals but only keeping three clean sheets - all at home - so entertainment is set to be on the menu again at the Deutsche Bank Park.
If that wasn’t enough to whet the appetite, this fixture has finished 3-3, 5-1 and 1-6 in the last three seasons.
Harry Kane has scored at least two goals in his last five Bayern appearances, taking his season tally to 17 already, and he is 5/2 to continue that particular run.
Serie A Tip
JUVENTUS TO BEAT AC MILAN & BTTS @ 4/1
Juventus started their campaign with three successive wins but have drawn all four fixtures since, including seeing Villarreal net a last-minute equaliser in their midweek Champions League clash in Spain.
Milan have won six of seven games, with a shock 2-1 home defeat to Cremonense in their Serie A opener the only setback, and they beat champions Napoli 2-1 last week despite having Pervis Estupinan sent off before the hour.
Christian Pulisic, Milan’s leading scorer last term, has netted six goals already and is 6/1 to open the scoring on Sunday.
Ligue 1 Tip
MARSEILLE HT/FT AGAINST METZ @ 6/5
Promoted Metz prop up Ligue 1 after picking up just two points from six games, and are the only club in the French top flight still searching for a victory.
Marseille are third in the table with four wins from six matches, including an impressive 1-0 victory over Paris St Germain, while they thrashed Ajax 4-0 in the Champions League in midweek.
However, they have also lost three of their four away fixtures this season, so Metz can take some comfort from that.
Liga Portugal Tip
PORTO TO BEAT BENFICA & BTTS @ 10/3
Having lost at Chelsea in midweek, new Benfica boss Jose Mourinho will face another of his former employers on Sunday as the Lisbon giants travel to leaders Porto in ‘O Classico’.
Porto have won all seven of their league matches, scoring 19 goals and letting in just one - an own goal, and are three points clear of champions Sporting and four above Benfica.
Benfica are in good form themselves, though, with their only defeats in 14 matches coming in the Champions League against Qarabag and Chelsea, while they beat Porto 4-1 home and away last season, having lost 5-0 on their previous visit to the Estadio do Dragao.
