First Premier League Manager Sacked Tips

Erik ten Hag Back On Hot Seat

Erik ten Hag has been slashed into 3/1 joint-favourite (from 9/1) with BoyleSports to be the first managerial casualty of the new Premier League season.

A 3-0 defeat at the hands of Liverpool in Sunday’s Old Trafford clash has heaped immediate pressure on the Dutchman as the Red Devils have now amassed just three points from their opening three league games, with a 2-1 loss on the road at Brighton also blotting their copy book.

Sean Dyche Under Pressure At Goodison

A late implosion at Goodison Park saw Everton turn a 2-0 lead into a 3-2 defeat against Bournemouth, ensuring Sean Dyche (3/1), who began the season as favourite in the sack race, continues to come under fire.

Having narrowly avoided relegation last season, the Toffees sit bottom of the Premier League table after three straight defeats and are now just 13/8 to be playing Championship football next season, with promoted trio Leicester (4/11), Southampton (4/7) and Ipswich (10/11) all deemed in danger of the drop.

With the blue half of Manchester maintaining their 100% record this season at West Ham thanks to Erling Haaland’s second successive hat-trick, they remain red-hot 11/10 favourites for a historic fifth league title in a row. Punters however continue to play the side to be relegated at 6/1 with an impending hearing of 115 alleged breaches of Premier League rules set to get underway this month.

Brian O’Keeffe, spokesperson for BoyleSports, said:

“It looks to be a case of Erik ‘when’ Hag for punters as they latch onto Man United’s rocky start to the campaign. He’s now joint-favourite with Sean Dyche to be the season’s first managerial casualty and they’ll need an instant response after the international break.”
