The final of the English Greyhound Derby takes place on Saturday night and it sees the Owen McKenna-trained Farloe Blitz head the betting at 5/6.

Blitz is all the rage ahead of Saturday’s Final and our traders are expecting his current price to dry up sooner rather than later.""

It's nearest rival in the betting is Eden The Kid at 4/1, who will race from Trap 4, whilst Rio Quattro, who will race from Trap 1, is next in the betting at 5/1.

Making Paper, who landed the second semi-final, is priced at 8/1 whilst Tynwald Bish (12/1) is the sole wide runner in the field. Millwards Davy completes the line-up at 16/1.

We've priced up a range of specials on the event and it's 8/11 that the winning dog will be trained in Ireland whilst it’s Evens that the prize money will stay in the UK. The winning distance market sees Over 2 lengths priced at 10/11 with Under 1 length available at 2/1. Last year’s winner, Salad Dodger, landed the race by a ½ length.
