Fallon Sherrock Supported For BDO Women’s World Championship

Tuesday evening saw Fallon Sherrock make darting history at Ally Pally as she became the first woman ever to defeat a man at the PDC World Championship.


Sherrock was one of only two women to qualify for the 96-player event but the 25-year-old booked her place in the second round with a 3-2 victory over Ted Evetts.

Japanese star Mikuru Suzuki came close to defeating James Richardson on Sunday and is second favourite at 3/1 to win back-to-back BDO Women's World Championships next year.

Sherrock is now 2000/1 from 5000/1 to win the PDC World Championship and faces 47-year-old Austrian Mensur Suljovic in the second round. Michael van Gerwen remains the Evens favourite.
