Katelyn and Eric Set for Ballroom Battle on Dancing With The Stars
Katelyn Cummins has wrestled back favouritism ahead of Boyband & Girlband week on Dancing With The Stars and is now just even money with BOYLE Sports to lift the glitterball.
The reigning Rose of Tralee has been the subject of sustained support from armchair experts throughout this week, usurping Ireland AM presenter Eric Roberts at the head of the betting, with the Donegal-born TikTok star now rated a 6/5 shot to be crowned ballroom royalty.
Jordan Dargan, who finished third on last year’s The Apprentice, heads the chasing pack at odds of 13/2, with Tolü Makay (12/1) the only other contestant being given a real chance by the oddsmakers.
Anne Cassin was the latest celeb casualty, having bowed out of the show last week when losing out to Philip Doyle (16/1) in the dance-off and 50/1 outsider Stephanie Kelly is favourite to join her this week.
Paudie Moloney faces an uphill battle at 20/1, with one-time Eurovision winner Niamh Kavanagh (33/1) also failing to hit the right notes with the judges.
Brian O’Keeffe, spokesperson for BOYLE Sports, said:
“This is one of the closest ballroom battles we’ve seen in years, and while Katelyn Cummins is just edging it over Eric Roberts, one standout performance could change everything.”
