We have an FA Cup Final prediction for you from former Man United and Man City star striker Andy Cole ahead of Saturday's Final at Wembley.

As domestic matches go it doesn't get any bigger than this. Man City, once famously described as 'noisy neighbours' by Sir Alex Ferguson, will play Man United at Wembley on Saturday afternoon with an FA Cup and potential treble on the line.

Man United of course are the only English team to ever win the treble of the Premier League, FA Cup and Champions League so the stakes are high here as if they can't beat their rivals in this game they will likely go on to win the treble as they are heavily favoured in the Champions League Final.

Andy Cole, part of Man United's 98/99 treble winning team, had plenty to say ahead of Saturday's game and you can read all of his thoughts below on how the game will play out, what it means to each club and if Man City have a small club mentality.

FA Cup Final Prediction

Q. How do you predict the game to go?

If Manchester City score early, they'll go on to win the game comfortably. If Manchester United frustrate them and nick a goal, then they can win a game. I have this feeling that Manchester United will win that game.

No one seems to mention that the last time they played, Manchester United won, they played well and convincingly won. But anything can happen in the FA Cup, that's the magic of it.

However you look at it, Manchester United will go into this game knowing we've achieved history by winning this cup and completing the treble. Our neighbours have a great chance of matching the treble if they beat us. They have the club's history and legacy on the line, it's as simple as that.

Who Needs To Win The FA Cup Final More - City Or United?

Q. Is the FA Cup final a bigger game for Man United or Man City?

The FA Cup final is a big game for both Manchester teams. Manchester City are looking to do something only one club has ever done in English football. Manchester United are trying to win a cup double. However you perceive that, a cup double is a massive improvement from last season.

It's equally as big of a game to each team because Manchester United have lacked silverware in recent years and Manchester City want the treble.

Manchester United could actually match the Liverpool 'quadruple' side from last season with an FA Cup win, which is not bad for a team going through a transition. You have to look at that as a massive positive.

But no one is actually mentioning how good a cup double would be because everyone is obsessed with Manchester City winning the treble. It's a lack of respect people are showing to Manchester United at the moment.

Do Man City Still Have A Small Club Mentality?

Q. Some City fans have said that they’d rather lose the Champions League final and win the first ever Manchester Derby FA Cup final, do they need to stop having the mentality of a smaller club?

I'm not trying to be disrespectful but I don't think Manchester City and their fans understand what the Champions League is all about. To win that and be the best team in Europe is special.

So when you hear comments that some people who support Manchester City would rather get one over Manchester United in the FA Cup final rather than win the Champions League, it's very strange.

Manchester City have never won the Champions League, so do they actually grasp how big it is? Look at Real Madrid, they've built their club to be one of, if not, the greatest by winning Champions Leagues.

Of course you have to be obsessed with Manchester United, look at their history. Manchester City's history will never, ever, become the same as Manchester United's. Teams like Real Madrid and Barcelona too, these clubs have won the major competitions throughout their history.

Will Manchester City still be in the same position and dominate the league when Pep Guardiola leaves? Those are the questions that need to be asked.
