Having previously finished a close second in Azerbaijan before breaking his duck for the season in Bahrain , the Red Bull ace has impressed on a trio of different tracks.
Verstappen now heads to Texas full of confidence and ready to maintain that momentum at a venue where he has excelled in the past, prevailing for the fourth time in five years at the Circuit of the Americas last term.
Bookmakers have reacted accordingly and the flying Dutchman is down to 11/10 in the United States Grand Prix odds , but we’re still sticking with the red-hot four-time world champion .

Verstappen buoyed by ‘more balanced’ Red Bull
Verstappen enjoyed a perfect weekend in Singapore , winning Saturday’s sprint from pole and again triumphing from the front of the grid during Sunday’s main event under lights, on his 250th Formula One Grand Prix start .
That maiden victory at the Marina Bay Circuit came in dominant fashion, crossing the line 7.3 seconds ahead of Charles Leclerc , and again confirmed the upgraded Red Bull’s recent step forward.
Due to a slow start to the campaign, Verstappen is free from the shackles of title pressure which appear to have caused Kimi Antonelli to just rein it in a bit since building a big lead at the top of the table with a series of daring displays.
“We are not in the championship fight and that is why I think until the end we will try to have a good time and hopefully add more wins,” Verstappen said.
He added: “The car has felt a lot nicer from Baku onwards, a lot more balanced. The way that we have turned that around and the progress we have made makes it feel nicer. When you can add podiums and wins too, that’s nice.”

Antonelli claimed the final step of the podium in Singapore after a late charge, to stretch his advantage over teammate and nearest challenger George Russell - who moved up to ninth from last on the grid - to 102 points .
The Mercedes pair are 9/4 and 10/1 respectively to prevail in Austin this weekend, while Ferrari duo Lewis Hamilton and Leclerc can both be backed at 12/1 .
However, we’re more interested in McLaren’s Lando Norris in our United States Grand Prix betting tips , with the reigning world champion worth each-way support at 11/1 and fancied at 2/1 to finish in the first three .
Having secured back-to-back wins in Hungary and the Netherlands either side of the summer break before finishing fourth in Italy and third in Spain , Norris faltered with a DNF in Azerbaijan and ninth place in Bahrain .
However, securing fourth spot in Singapore , one place ahead of teammate Oscar Piastri , was more like it again, as well as McLaren’s solid sprint showing until a late collision, and the Briton has a fine record in this race, posting form figures of 2-4-2 over the past three seasons.
Team principal Andrea Stella commented after the last event: “It gives us confidence as we prepare for the next trio of races and focus on introducing updates that we hope will enable us to fight for the podium.”
