Most eyes will be on Kimi Antonelli’s bid to wrap up a famous title triumph this weekend but we’re focusing on the improved form of Charles Leclerc in our Mexico City Grand Prix predictions . The Ferrari ace has had a patchy campaign, despite securing a notable success at Silverstone , but the signs are he is set for a strong finish following recent upgrades.
Leclerc has managed back-to-back runner-up placings in Singapore and the United States and we like 11/10 for him to make the podium again on Sunday from the Mexico City Grand Prix odds.

Ferrari on fire
Ferrari progress fills Leclerc with confidence
Leclerc was the fastest man on the track in the closing stages of the US grand prix , passing Max Verstappen to claim second behind convincing victor Antonelli . Ferrari had impressed during practice in Austin , with Leclerc topping the timesheets in two sessions and team-mate Lewis Hamilton leading the way in the other.
They paid the price for crucial errors in qualifying but ultimately finishing second and fourth on race day was a fine return, with only a late virtual safety car possibly denying them a double podium.
"We brought good upgrades to the car and have been going in a direction that I quite like,” declared Leclerc . “It makes me feel confident with the car, so I'm optimistic. It's all about optimising what we have for the upcoming races, with the target of converting our progress to a win."
Hamilton added: “The pace was there and we were closing in the final stint…The focus now is on starting strongly in Mexico and putting ourselves in the fight from the very first session."
The Scuderia were second and third fastest in qualifying in Mexico 12 months ago and Leclerc went on to be the runner-up behind Lando Norris on race day, so an each-way punt on the Monegasque at 8/1 is also tempting, while Hamilton can be backed at 17/2 to prevail.
Antonelli vows to ‘fight for another win’
Mercedes ace Antonelli closed in on becoming the youngest Formula One champion in history by converting his pole position into a resounding win in Austin . The Italian is 7/4 to clinch the title in style by winning this weekend, but a whopping 123-point lead over team-mate George Russell , with Hamilton a point further back, means a finish of ninth or higher will seal top spot.
“We are very close, we try to finish on a high and hopefully we can clinch it very soon,” Antonelli said. “I am going to approach with the same mindset – to have fun and fight for another win.”
However, the temptation could be there to ever-so-slightly play it safe and settle for doing just enough on this occasion to get the main job done. Russell is 16/1 to register his fourth win of the season but has to bounce back from a trio of disappointing displays, with his form figures reading DNF-9-8 since the last success in Azerbaijan .
Verstappen failed to complete a hat-trick of victories in Austin after prevailing in Bahrain and Singapore but he has claimed a record five wins in this race, so 11/8 for the Red Bull star to add to that tally is sure to feature in many Mexico City Grand Prix betting tips.
