The Gunners go into the clash top of Group A and top of the Premier League table as they maintained a one-point advantage over champions Manchester City with a 3-2 victory over Liverpool at the Emirates on Sunday.

“Arsenal have to be full of optimism and positivity after the win over Liverpool,” Sawyer told BoyleSports.
“It was gritty and determined. The fact it came against a team who they have really struggled to beat in recent times is a huge plus, because that was a massive test.
“I said before the campaign started that Mikel Arteta was going to be put to the test in Europe this season. He has to juggle his squad with a European adventure, something they didn’t have to do last season.
"But Arsenal are showing in the Europa League that they also have strength in depth and that is great for them. He can make a host of changes and still win. I expect they’ll do the same again.”
Sawyer also backed Manchester United for a comfortable victory when they welcome Omonia Nicosia to Old Trafford having stuttered to a 3-2 win over Neil Lennon’s side last week, but warned the Red Devils have yet to hit full stride under Erik ten Hag.
“Manchester United will be delighted with their win at Everton,” she added.
“They didn’t start the season well with those two defeats and while things have improved and they’re picking up points, they still aren’t in the groove you’d want them to be.
“Despite Omonia Nicosia’s lowly credentials they did test United, taking the lead and fighting back to make it 3-2 late on, but this will be too big a test at Old Trafford. United will win comfortably.”
