With the new EFL season underway, our football accumulator tips for Saturday focus on the latest League One and League Two fixtures. We're backing a 17/1 fivefold packed with value selections from across the divisions.

EFL ACCA Tips – Saturday’s 17/1+ 5-Fold

Tip #1

Bolton to beat Plymouth @ 6/10

Wanderers missed out on a place in the League One play-offs last season due to a late collapse but put their faith in Steven Schumacher this summer by bringing in several promising young players to increase hopes of a promotion push. Visiting last season's third-placed outfit Stockport was a tough opener and resulted in a 2-0 loss, but they did hit the post twice through Xavier Simons and Max Conway and looked a touch unlucky not to be awarded a penalty.

Tip #2

Stevenage to beat Rotherham @ 3/4

There was a lot to like about the way Stevenage recovered from going behind early on to open up their League One campaign with a 3-2 victory at Blackpool, where Jamie Reid bagged a brace and last season's top scorer Dan Kemp was also on target. The early signs are that young boss Alex Revell will be able to adopt a more attacking approach this term. Rotherham showed good heart to hold on for a 2-1 home win over Port Vale first up but their away record last season left much to be desired.

Tip #3

Crawley to beat Newport @ 11/20

Town were given a rude wake-up call when hammered 3-0 at Grimsby but deserve another chance to show last term's late flourish was not a false dawn. Despite being relegated from League One, Crawley closed with a fine run of results, drawing at Birmingham before completing a hat-trick of victories. Newport finished third from bottom in League Two last season and only basement dwellers Morecambe suffered more defeats on the road. County kicked off this term with an encouraging 1-1 home draw against Notts County but the feeling is that they will again be vulnerable away from Rodney Parade.

Tip #4

Crewe to beat Accrington @ 21/20

There were strong whispers that Alex had recruited well over the summer and they certainly made a statement of intent by prevailing 3-1 away to perennial promotion hopefuls Salford on the opening day of the season. In a positive performance, Crewe had 22 attempts at goal and head coach Lee Bell hailed the "energy and aggression" shown. Accrington have made a solid start themselves but we're jumping on the Crewe bandwagon in our football accumulator tips.

Tip #5

Swindon to beat Cambridge @ 21/20

Ian Holloway was left fuming after the Robins failed to convert their dominance of 10-man Walsall into an opening victory and Connor Barrett somehow managed to give the Saddlers a 2-1 success in stoppage time. However, we haven't forgotten how much improvement Swindon showed after bringing in the veteran boss towards the end of last October, losing just three of their final 20 fixtures. Having retained most of that squad, Town remain a team to follow this term.
