We’ve got a handful of Championship, League One and League Two selections for this Saturday's EFL acca tips and are eyeing an 11/1-plus pay-out.
Four out of our five picks prevailed a fortnight ago and only Bristol City let us down for a windfall last weekend, so the aim is to go one better this time.
EFL ACCA Betting Tips: 5 Saturday Best Bets
4/9 Tip #1
BIRMINGHAM TO BEAT OXFORD @ 4/9
The Blues will have felt unlucky not to beat Ipswich at St Andrew’s in their Championship opener but the late drama went their way when coming from behind to snatch a last-gasp 2-1 success at Blackburn.
City enjoyed an EFL Cup triumph over Sheffield United in between and have already built up some strong momentum this term. Oxford are on zero points from two fixtures despite having a relatively kind start against Portsmouth and Hull.
11/20 Tip #2
WREXHAM TO BEAT SHEFF WED @ 11/20
The Red Dragons have nothing to show for a couple of spirited displays in the Championship so far but this is a golden opportunity to put that right.
Wrexham were leading until a stoppage-time collapse saw them lose 2-1 at Southampton and West Brom were again tough opponents in a 3-2 home defeat. Crisis club Wednesday should prove more conducive company.
21/20 Tip #3
HUDDERSFIELD TO BEAT STEVENAGE @ 21/20
Stevenage can’t be opposed lightly after getting off to a flying start in League One with four consecutive victories but it must be noted that they were favoured by the early fixture list.
This represents by far the toughest test they have faced and could provide Boro with a reality check. Huddersfield have already seen off Leyton Orient and Doncaster by a combined scoreline of 5-0 at home and are fancied by many to go up.
8/15 Tip #4
STOCKPORT TO BEAT BURTON @ 8/15
League One promotion hopefuls County suffered a blip when beaten 2-1 at home by Bradford on Tuesday but visiting boss Graham Alexander admitted his team could have been four down at the break rather than trailing 1-0.
Stockport manager Dave Challinor described the second-half turnaround as “mind-blowing” but the Hatters have a great chance to get back on track against Burton, who are among the favourites for relegation.
3/4 Tip #5
CHESTERFIELD TO WIN AT HARROGATE @ 3/4
The Spireites were brought down to earth with a bump when following up three straight League Two victories with a 4-1 defeat at Gillingham but manager Paul Cook was left fuming by the two penalty decisions that put his side on the back foot.
Chesterfield remain second favourites to top the table in this division and will be fired up to quickly put Tuesday’s result behind them.
