In an exclusive interview with BoyleSports, former Man United star Dwight Yorke has claimed he would be worth more than £100m in the current transfer market.

Yorke, who was a star for both Aston Villa and Man United during the 90s and early 2000s, also chatted to us about the summer transfer window and some big-name moves that he has his eye on.

I’d Be Worth More Than £100 Million in the Current Market – I Had More Than Grealish

It’s hard to speculate but at the time I was close to £13 million in joining Manchester United from Aston Villa, now that would probably be extremely high.

At the top of my game, scoring 25 goals for Aston Villa, assists weren't really a thing then but those would’ve been pretty high as well, I was a complete player who had played for years in the Premier League with Aston Villa and worked my way to the top.

So I’d look at players like Jack Grealish going for £100 million. I had more in my locker than some of these players, so with the inflation in the market, it could’ve been more than that.

Anthony Gordon Is Not on the Level of Marcus Rashford

Manchester United could look to replace Marcus Rashford with Anthony Gordon but is he better than Rashford? I don’t think so. Rashford has got the edge on him, look what he was doing the season before last.

Anthony Gordon is a very exciting young player, there are no two ways about that. You could see the intensity in how he plays, but Rashford has got all those attributes. Give me Rashford over him any day.

If Rashford is playing the way he can play, he makes Anthony Gordon look bang average. United just need a way to get him back to his best.

Rashford at the level he has shown in the past is so exciting to watch and we have to find a way of getting him to play back to that level again.

He's in the prime of his career and he will be coming into the prime of his life. He needs to find that love and that passion, that desire to play football and want to be doing it week in, week out for Manchester United.

Forget Manchester City – Jack Grealish Wouldn’t Even Get in Manchester United’s Team

In his current form, Jack Grealish wouldn’t get into Manchester United’s team. He’s similar to Rashford in being paid a huge amount of money and having so much potential but dropping off.

You don't mind going through a phase where you're not being a little bit off and we all have those moments, but the drop off is a significant one in both players.

That comes down to whether or not they really focused on what got them to where they are. These are probably questions that only these guys can answer.

They have ability in abundance, that's why Grealish was worth a hundred million. That's why Rashford is put into that bracket because he has got all the attributes to be that type of player.

What we have seen is the drop off. There must be something within there that is not correct, that is for United and City to work out.

Ollie Watkins Should Reject Interest to Stay at Aston Villa This Summer

For Ollie Watkins, I would advise him to stay at Aston Villa and carry on doing what he has been doing. If United were still dominating then it would be an easy decision but right now I don’t think he would enjoy his time there as much.

At Aston Villa in the Champions League, I think he will enjoy himself a lot more. He's the top man there at Villa. That status when you go to Manchester United is taken away from you.

You’ve got to earn the right there which means starting all over again. United are also not in the Champions League. So it's kind of a no-brainer at the moment.

When I left Villa they weren’t in the Champions League, but Manchester United were. So then it was an easy transition for that. it's on the flip side of things now.

Trent Alexander-Arnold Should Force Through ‘No-Brainer’ Move to Real Madrid

Liverpool are obviously going through that new phase now with the new manager coming in so things are going to be different.

He is a Liverpool boy of course but lets not forget his best mate Jude Bellingham is playing in Spain which could be a significant factor. But I’m sure he would be great there because of the type of football - which is Real Madrid dominating games most of the time which will get him on the ball.

We know his quality with the football but he gets a lot of stick in England from ex-players about his defensive ability, while not getting enough credit for his ability.

I won't be surprised if Real Madrid make an official bid for him. He’s only played for his boyhood club and won the Premier League, the Champions League and everything else, but the stick he gets and having a friend at Real Madrid could tempt him to the biggest club in world football right now.

For me, it’s a no-brainer. If I were to advise him, those are the things I would look at because here he just gets knocked down - he should seriously consider leaving and going to Real Madrid.
