Lando Norris will be looking to pick up where he left off when the 2025 Formula One season resumes this week and gets the nod in our Dutch Grand Prix predictions. The British ace trails McLaren team-mate Oscar Piastri by nine points in the drivers’ standings but was in flying form prior to the summer break.
Victory in Hungary made it three wins from the last four races and Norris can also take heart from his dominant success at Zandvoort 12 months ago. Piastri is 5/4 favourite with BOYLE Sports in their Dutch Grand Prix odds but preference is for Norris at 11/8.

Norris Braced for Tough Title Fight

Admittedly, Norris benefitted from rolling the dice strategy wise at the Hungaroring, stopping one less time than his main competitors and then fending off Piastri’s late challenge.
Following his fifth win of the year, one fewer than Piastri, Norris said: “It has been a tough battle so far with Oscar and it is going to continue to be tough. The margins between us are pretty small. There are things I can do better and improve on and I am sure he will probably say the same thing. So, it is going to be a good and tough fight, probably until the end.”
McLaren boss Zak Brown added: “Lando is in a great place. I’ve never seen him in a better place and he is doing an awesome job.”
Verstappen Has Great Zandvoort Record

Max Verstappen claimed a hat-trick of victories at Zandvoort between 2021 and 2023 before finishing second in 2024 and will be seen as the obvious alternative to the McLaren duo in most Dutch Grand Prix betting tips.
The Red Bull ace can be backed at 8/1 to secure a third win of the season and is 8/13 to make the podium. Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc is 10/1 and 11/8 for those bets, with Canadian Grand Prix hero George Russell 16/1 to prevail for Mercedes and 2/1 to finish in the first three.

Lewis Hamilton is 7/2 to be in the top trio for the first time this term and 25/1 to add to his 105 career victories. The 40-year-old described himself as “absolutely useless” after he started and finished 12th in Hungary but will hopefully have recharged his batteries during the brief lay-off.
Ferrari team principal Fred Vasseur said: “We’re back on track after the summer break, which gave the team and the drivers a chance to recharge, ready to face a very busy final part of the season. In the Netherlands, we want to maintain the positive momentum built up over the past few races, where we made progress in terms of competitiveness. Charles and Lewis are ready and the team is fully focused and determined to put them in the best possible position to get some good results.”
