It came down the very last second between Kilkenny and Tipperary in their All Ireland Senior Hurling Final clash in Croke Park.

Hawkeye shattered Tipp hearts when John O’Dwyers penalty was wide by sheer millimetres. For the third consecutive year the hurling final ended in a draw with Kilkenny 3-22 to Tipperary’s 1-28.

Boylesports took a massive hit with the draw being heavily backed in from 10/1 to 9/1 ahead of the match and punters continuing to back the draw from the 1st to the 70th minute through the In Play betting.

The bad news didn’t stop there for Ireland’s largest independent bookmaker as their Drawing Interest offer clicked and saw all bets on first, last, anytime goalscorers and winning margins refunded. Between the Drawing Interest offer cash back and the match finishing in a draw it resulted in Boylesports paying out just under €250,000.

It is Kilkenny’s second replay hurling final in three years and Boylesports expects them to come back and win just like thy did over Galway installed the Cats at 5/6. Tipperary were in front by two at the halfway mark but Kilkenny close the gap quickly into the second half and go into the replay at 6/5 to win. The Drawing Interest offer will run again for the replay match on the 27th September with draw again priced at 9/1.

The draw was the pick for punters ahead of the match and with Kilkenny and Tipp levelling up twelve times throughout the clash punters just couldn’t get enough of it. We took a massive hit on the draw alone but with our Drawing Interest offer clicking it has brought the payout figure just under €250,000.

The draw is priced at 9/1 again for the replay on the 27th so if could be worth a punt but it is Kilkenny who are the tipped to take Liam home at 5/6.
