Ulster duo lead All-Ireland scrap with bookies
Donegal are now favourites to win this year’s All-Ireland SFC after they were backed into 3/1 (from 9/2) with BoyleSports following Monday’s morning’s draw for the last eight.
Jim McGuinness’ side were comfortable winners in Sunday’s preliminary quarter-final clash with Louth in Ballybofey and have been rewarded with a rematch of their Ulster quarter-final against Monaghan, which they won by two points in April when they met the Farney at Clones.

Armagh Fallback In Betting
The latest betting moves mean Donegal have leapfrogged Ulster champions Armagh (7/2) in the race for the Sam Maguire, according to the odds, with the Orchardmen facing an All-Ireland quarter-final showdown with Kerry this weekend.
The Kingdom have been eased to 9/2 with BoyleSports while Galway are rated 4/1 third favourites after withstanding a late comeback by Down at Páirc Esler to secure a clash with Meath in the last eight.
Dublin and Tyrone are both 7/1 shots to go all the way this summer after they were pitted together in Monday’s draw.
Lawrence Lyons, spokesperson for BoyleSports, said:
“The latest shake-up in the All-Ireland betting sees Donegal edge into narrow favouritism, but with punters split across several counties, this year's race looks as open as ever. There's been steady support for the usual heavyweights, but we’re bracing ourselves for more twists before the silverware is dished out.”
