Cole Palmer has been in fantastic form for Chelsea this season and there are now growing calls from fans for him to start for England at this summer’s Euros.
Palmer is the co-leader in the Premier League Golden Boot race alongside Man City superstar striker Erling Haaland on 20 goals.
So given Palmer’s form should he be starting for England, especially with the likes of Phil Foden, Jude Bellingham and Bukayo Saka among others in the fray?
We put that conundrum to former Premier League star and England international Dion Dublin who also talked to us about Gareth Southgate’s time as England manager and who could be in line to take the job next.
Phil Foden & Cole Palmer Can’t Both Fit Into England Starting XI
How can you fit Phil Foden and Cole Palmer in the same England team? When you also have to fit in Bellingham, Declan Rice, Bukayo Saka and even Anthony Gordon and Ollie Watkins.
Gareth's now looking over his shoulder on the bench and he's got so much talent. I think it's about picking the right formation and making sure that players play in the positions that they've excelled
It should be that way rather than just trying to get a player in because he's that player and we need a position filled. I'm pretty sure Gareth will do that.

Gareth Southgate Has Been A Massive Success As England Manager
If England haven't won a trophy when Gareth Southgate leaves then he may well see it as a failure but I don’t agree. Everything he's done for England has been a success.
The way they play, the camaraderie within the camp, the work with the media and the relationship to the women’s game as well.
So I think he's done a lot more than just make the team good.
He may say that he should have won something with that group of players. But I don't think it will be.
Southgate Can Manage Anywhere
If Gareth Southgate goes to manage in the Premier League or Championship then it will be a different dynamic altogether than what he’s been used to with England.
But I think that Gareth can manage anywhere. What I mean by that is that he can manage any situation. I think he turns things around and makes it work.

Lee Carsley A Natural Progression As England Manager – But Southgate Deserves More Time
Lee Carsley’s reputation in the football world is huge, I’ve heard nothing but really good things about his coaching and his management of young players so it might be a natural progression.
I personally would like to see Gareth given a bit more time even if England win the Euros, you just don't know how the players are going to react to a new manager.
They've reacted to Gareth because they respect him and they think he's a very good bloke and a good coach. If somebody else comes in to rock the boat, who knows?
At the moment players are looking forward to going to play for England. They want to join up and play. They're loving it, and that's a very important thing to have – Gareth has created that.
