There was plenty of drama on day two of the Cheltenham Festival and it remains to be seen what will be thrown up on day three with plenty of action to look forward to.
Harry under the radar
Favourite for the race last year and unheralded this season, Unowhatimeanharry could give Noel Fehily another big race victory at this Cheltenham Festival.
There’s no doubt that Unowhatimeanharry has posted a couple of disappointing efforts most recently and two defeats in December would have hit punters hard but for whatever reason it looked like Harry Fry’s horses were out of form in December and a leap of faith is taken that his recent resurgence is a good sign for Unowhatimeanharry fans.
..but the ground has ruled out his chances one would have to think so Unowhatimeanharry looks worthy of siding with at odds of 10/1.
This horse went to Punchestown last season and reversed the form with Nichols Canyon and his form with that multiple Grade 1 winner would look good enough in this years race.
The fact that he handles the ground is a big plus and if the Fry horses are back in form, you’d certainly expect him to at least close the gap with Sam Spinner and hopefully reverse it.
Safe keeping
Laurina is certainly a short price for the Mares Novices’ Hurdle but she can’t be left out of any bet being done today. If punters are doing accumulators she just has to be in it and you can enhance the price of any other single you fancy by throwing her in to make a double.
In a week when Willie Mullins has shown his team to be in rude health..
..and her form has been well franked in Ireland and she should be a cut above these.
Laurina could be a filly that wants further in time but she showed enough gears when winning at Tramore and Fairyhouse and she handles the ground which is another plus so don’t look beyond her.
Recommended Bets:
Unowhatimeanharry 10/1 - 3.30 Stayers' Hurdle
Laurina 4/7 - 4.50 Mares' Novices' Hurdle

Having been a fan of Supasundae for so long it is difficult to go against him now...""
