Clayton remains the clear league leader after securing two nightly triumphs and winning 11 of his 16 matches overall, which includes a 6-2 drubbing of Rock in the opening round of fixtures. 'Rocky' didn’t play badly on that occasion in Newcastle , but a subsequent losing streak in this competition has clearly taken its toll on the Northern Irishman's confidence.

He averaged just 82.88 when hammered 6-1 by Stephen Bunting in Nottingham and only 84.21 in a 6-0 Dublin rout by Price , so it is easy to oppose him until showing more encouraging signs.

LUKE HUMPHRIES TO WIN & HAVE MOST 180s VS MICHAEL VAN GERWEN @ 5/4

Humphries has yet to pick up a nightly trophy, but his quarter-finals form has been excellent, claiming five wins from seven attempts at this stage. 'Cool Hand Luke' even played well in his two defeats, averaging 102.37 in a 6-5 loss to Littler on Night 2 and 106.29 in a 6-4 reversal against Bunting on Night 4.

The 31-year-old is seeking to make the semis for a fourth straight night. He has so far outscored Van Gerwen 43-25 in terms of 180s and demolished the Dutchman 7-2 on his way to a tournament win at the Belgian Darts Open over the weekend.

STEPHEN BUNTING +2.5 LEGS TO BEAT LUKE LITTLER @ 20/21

Littler beat Bunting 6-3 first up in Dublin a week ago, but it was not a bad performance from 'The Bullet' , who averaged 104.10 in that defeat. 'The Nuke' went on to lift that night's trophy but was taken all the way to a deciding leg by Van Gerwen in the semis and needed to pull off an incredible comeback from 5-0 down to edge out Price in the final.

At this venue, we're sticking with our theory that Littler will be below his brilliant best, as was the case here last year, when he arrived on a hot streak of reaching five straight finals but fell at the first Berlin hurdle via a 6-2 loss to Chris Dobey.

GERWYN PRICE VS GIAN VAN VEEN OVER 9.5 TOTAL LEGS @ 20/21

Van Veen was forced to withdraw from last week's show after being diagnosed with kidney stones, but we're hoping he is back to full health for what has become a thrilling rivalry with Price. Their two previous Premier League encounters this season have both gone all the way, with 'The Iceman' prevailing 6-5 in Antwerp and 'The Giant' shading it by the same scoreline in Belfast .

Price was sensational for much of the night in Dublin , whitewashing Rock , averaging 109.04 in a 6-1 victory versus Humphries and initially threatening to blitz Littler , but that final collapse meant that five of his last eight Premier League matches have gone the full 11 legs.
